Take Time to Celebrate

Recognition

Each member that logs “2” or more hours of volunteer time will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and your employer will be sent an Employer Letter recognizing your dedication to the profession.

Rewards

Many Districts are launching additional rewards for members who log the most hours.  So check in with your District leadership and see how they are celebrating campaign success.

Personal Accomplishment

This campaign is a continued movement to work together towards the success of the dietetics profession.  NCDA and Districts want to support membership engagement in the profession and can provide many opportunities for you to make a difference.

Please take time every six months to reflect upon your professional accomplishments and contributions.  Ask the following questions:

  • What are your current areas of interest?
  • Where would you like to focus your professional development?
  • Are you getting the experience you would like?
  • Does your volunteer focus need to be tailored differently?
  • Are you asked to volunteer in your area of interest?

Feel free to contact NCDA or your District and see what volunteer opportunities are currently available and how you can work together to make professional growth happen!
