WDA Members Partner with Appalachian Sustainable Agricultural Project to Bring 31 Days of Nutrition to Western North Carolina Children
Celebrate National Nutrition Month!
Participate in WDA’s
“31 Days of Nutrition”
This is the second year that WDA is partnering with the
Appalachian Sustainable Agricultural Project for
“31 Days of Nutrition”.
Last year we taught over twenty classes and
this year we hope to teach 31!!
Getting involved is easy!
Teach one nutrition class any time in March at an elementary school while promoting
local food. Prepared presentations are available if you don’t have
time to prepare your class!
Contact
Brooke Thompson at Appalachian Sustainable Agricultural Project at: 236-1282 or
e-mail her at brook@asapconnections.org.
You may also contact me at rdbarratt@french.toast.net.
We already have 19 volunteers but need a few more to meet or exceed our goal!
This is a great way for WDA to get positive publicity in the community
and for you to get in your
JustDo2! Hours!
Looking forward to hearing from you and
thanks for your participation!
