Nomination for CDA President Elect - Tracy Bonoffski, MS, RD, CNSD, CES
Tracy Bonoffski has a BS in Nutritional Science from Cornell University and MS from Wake Forest University in Exercise Science.  She has been a registered dietitian since 1998, and certified dietitian in sports nutrition since 2013.  Tracy is also a certified clinical exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.  Currently, she is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology at UNC Charlotte and has been teaching since 2007. Prior to that appointment, she was the corporate dietitian for NASCAR in Concord, NC.  Her primary interests are in plant-based nutrition, sports nutrition, weight management and cardiovascular health. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hiking, fly-fishing, traveling and spending time at the beach with her husband and sons. In addition, she is an active volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Friendship Trays and Hands on Charlotte. 
 

Nomination for CDA Secretary - Ellison White, MS, RD, LD
Ellison is a clinical dietitian at CMC-Main, working both inpatient and outpatient with the adult patients with Cystic Fibrosis. She received her MS in Nutrition from Meredith College and did her dietetic internship with Lenoir-Rhyne University. Before pursuing a career in nutrition, Ellison received a BS in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and worked in fundraising and development for 5 years.


Nomination for CDA Secretary - Genevieve Hicks, MHS, RD/LDN
Genevieve Hicks is a registered dietitian of 3.5 years and NASM certified personal trainer with a Master of Health Science degree. She has experience working with diverse and underserved populations of all ages in community and outpatient settings, creating nutrition therapy-focused cooking groups, designing educational curriculum, collaborating with community members, managing, and sales. She enjoys working in tandem with other healthcare providers to deliver a holistic approach towards sustainable health and a better quality of life. Genevieve is passionate about food security and food policies affecting healthy food access. She is active with the Healthy Food Financing Initiative and partakes in advocacy events in D.C. annually.  Her current project is providing nutrition education to users of the new Mobile Food Pharmacy of Mecklenburg County.
