President Elect

Raina Goldstein Bunnag, MPH, RD, LDN

Raina is an elementary school nutritionist at the Durham County Department of Public Health. In this role she teaches nutrition and partners with school and community groups to create healthier school environments. She thinks she has the coolest job in the world!   Raina’s passionate about making nutrition policy, systems and environmental changes to make the healthy choice the easy choice where people live, work, learn and play.  Raina has been on the board of DCHDA for three years as the legislative chair.


 Jasmine Burroughs, RD

Jasmine is a graduate of the dietetics program and dietetic internship at North Carolina Central University. Currently, she works in research at the Duke University Digital Health Science Center. Jasmine has interests in biology, nutrition, and research and has been working on behavioral intervention trials for the past 5 years at Duke. She is also involved with local community groups supporting food access and food security. Outside of work Jasmine enjoys spending time with her infant son, cooking, and hiking.
