NCAND Webinars

Webinars are worth 1 CEU unless otherwise noted. In order to obtain your CEU certificate you must fill out an evaluation that will be emailed out after the webinar is completed. Webinar costs are $5 for current NCAND members and $20 for non-members.  Pricing for DEI webinars only has been changed to $5 for NCAND members and $10 for non-members. 

Periodically through out the year NCAND will offer free webinars.


Registration for NCAND webinars closes 30 minutes before the webinar is scheduled to take place.

Join us at the "barre" for a coffee and movement social on February 27th, at 10am via WebEx. From 10-10:30 we will have a coffee social. Join us with your favorite cup of Java as we catch up! At 10:30, our very own board member and Pure Barre instructor, Autumn, will lead us in a 30 minute Barre class. No equipment required! You will simply need a chair to hold on to and a yoga mat if you'd like. We can't wait to see you!

"Making The Field of Dietetics Your Own-Forge Your Future and Others" - Patricia Pitts, MS, RDN, LDN 
Lecture Summary: The lecture will discuss how choosing non-traditional pathways within the field of dietetics, in particular, culinary based, can allow different doors to open up within both the inpatient and outpatient worlds. The definition of culinary nutrition and core competencies will be reviewed with the intent to comprehend their potential as possible career goals. The lecture will also discuss the importance of serving as a preceptor and how to ensure one is leading students to their full potential.

This discussion is open to student, RDs, DTRs, interns, and any other interested person, and will cover topics talked about during the series of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DEI) webinars presented through the NCAND webinar series.
